The Pillars of the Earth, é uma nova minissérie de 8 episódios do canal Starz, o mesmo de Crash e Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Com um orçamento de 40 milhões de dólares, a minissérie é uma adaptação de um livro de mesmo nome, cuja história gira em torno da construção de uma igreja no século XII na Inglaterra. Protagonizada pelos atores Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Matthew Macfadyen e Donald Sutherland, e com Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, de Battlestar Galactica, como realizador.
